With 26 years of experience teaching middle school, including 21 years in Douglas County, I've developed a deep appreciation for the unique challenges and joys of working with adolescents. Despite the well-known warnings about this being the hardest developmental age for both parents and kids, I fell in love with the quirks, dreams, and struggles that define these years. Each day brings a whirlwind of emotions and discoveries that make this age group truly special. Watching them navigate the turbulent waters of adolescence, finding their identities, and blossoming into their potential is an incredibly rewarding experience that fuels my passion for life coaching.
